About Pastor Beya

I am Pastor T. D. Beya, an itinerant Bible teacher, a professional counsellor specialised in Refugees’ Trauma and Torture Recovery and a pastor at Living Word Church International, Sydney, Australia. I have travelled many countries around the world teaching the Word of God and encouraging believers to recover their purpose in God and the joy of living for Him.

Born in a Christian family, my late father was a Presbyterian minister who spent half his pastoral life as a chaplain in the army. I grew up with a heart-felt sense of God and of His love. However, I gave my life to the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of twelve (12) and was baptised in water in a Pentecostal church the same year.

The Lord Jesus has been intervening at critical moments in my life according to his plan. He made it possible for me to undertake undergraduate studies at the Evangelical Theological Faculty in Europe where I grew in my knowledge of the person and works of the Holy Spirit. Upon graduating, I was encouraged by some of my lecturers to consider further studies in theology. The Lord opened the door for me to go to Australia for that purpose and allowed me to stay on after completing a Master in Theology with the Australian College of Theology sponsored by Moore College.

I have been active in ministry since 1989 with a calling in teaching, which has become evident over the years. I have ministered to Christians of different denominations in Africa, America, Europe and Australasia with the grace of God manifesting as people rediscover their purpose in God and commit themselves to walking with Him and living for Him.

I am married to Pauline Beya, a beautiful and godly woman of God, and God blessed us with five most-cherished children together.
